Hookah business. remember to listen to the tone of debate

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 19, 2010 by Abraham Appel

Ed Hardy Hookah clearly spent a lot of energy reaching out in honesty to clear up some false rumors about Our hookah’s. We were sincere and we mentioned how frustrating the anger and drama was in the Hookah business as we are attacked by agents of different Hookah companies that don’t care about hookah, or smoking but only about continuing a perception that enhances their profits at the expense of the Hookah customers.

But we thought we had it pretty cleared up until baffled by comments that ignored the conversation completely. People who ignored everything all of us had said and just repeated the rumors “maybe if ed hardy didnt make shitty hookahs you wouldnt have a problem selling them. i have a km, well worth the money now some ed hardy poser chinese knockoff shit not worth it”

Now Ed hardy hookah is not insecure. We smoke out of a KM also. But we Know we have made a great hookah. But we know that there are many different types of hookahs and you may not like ours for some reason. A friend of mine simply thinks its to big for her house. We’re working on making a smaller one. cause thats what good business does.

But to say that were having trouble selling Ed hardy Hookah and then saying we sell shit. Well, if you knew anything about Ed hardy hookah you would know these are hookahs to be very proud of, and you would know we have no trouble selling them.

Ed hardy Hookah thinks that customers are being cheated by comments like these on hookah forums across the internet. We don’t want to add to the confusion be being disingenuous but instead approach hookah smokers with respect and honesty. And those of you lying about its quality; well we hope people remember what they bought from you and know how truthful you are after they smoke an Ed hardy.

Hookah bar.

It is surprising how connected people get to their hookah bar.  The amount of time we spend smoking our shisha at the hookah bar starts to make you realize it has less to do with hookah than it does with hookah connections and friendships.

Yes its relaxing to smoke a hookah. But the mellow style that many hookah bars offer their customers attract the customers in more than the tobacco itself.

I think smoking hookahs popularity has something to say about our culture also. In our culture everyone is always moving so quick, no time to stop. But when we go to a hookah bar we have a place that we can rest, relax and blow some O’s.

In san diego: try Hookah bar called The Living Room.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 12, 2010 by Abraham Appel

Hookah smokers are a little too much like bears hibernating every night in their cave.

So when we Hookah-cubs are forced out of our normal hunting grounds; we can feel a little lost.

So Ed Hardy Hookah is searching for the best hookah bars. We’re gonna start where we remember going over time when we left our Home base. We’re hoping you’ll suggest a few hookah bars from around the world that we can spotlight as well.

The first Hookah bar I would suggest to you if you were in San Diego, CA  is the Living room

Living room coffe, food and Hookah: bringing everyone together.

According to the Living room website “Since…1991, The Living Room has grown from its original location in the San Diego State University area, to a total of 6 Cafe’s: La Jolla, Point Loma, Historic Old Town San Diego, Southwestern College National City and Southwestern College Otay Mesa. The newest addition (was at)UCSD – Price Center (in) 2008.”

The Living room is a spectacular Hookah bar and coffee shop with a style that is unmatched by any hookah bar in San Diego. Sophisticated with a touch of hometown crass. A nice cross between hookah club and Coffee shop with its own set of regulars mixed with a constant newbie feel to it.

What makes The Living Room so special is that it is more than a place that serves shisha. It is a two-story coffee shop and restaurant in the heart of Down town La Jolla with a second story bar and hookah bar.

It is wonderful looking down at down town as the clubs get out and watching the people walk around and enjoying the Diego air.

It’s expensive. Around 20 dollars for a Hookah. But if it isnt gonna stress you out to spend that much I would suggest going down to San Diego and enjoying the vibes and the view and the great atmosphere. Another advantage of The living room is the wide variety of food.

politics of Hookah is destructive to all hookah smokers

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 24, 2009 by Abraham Appel

Hookah smokers today find themselves in a precarious position. Ed hardy Hookah wants to transcend the politics and work and sell off of our quality and ethics.

The politics of Hookah tobacco and water pipe companies, and so-called experts relies solely on political BS between Hookah companies. Recently we were banned from a hookah forum because we wanted to talk about ED Hardy Hookah bar music. Listen I love Ed Hardy. I respect other companies like Starbuzz which is fantastic almost every time, but I like this Ed Hardy stuff.

I remember I made fun of Ed Hardy Hookah when I first heard of it. But i was wrong about the quality and work ethic of the founders.

Ed Hardy Hookah represents something that maybe the clothing has lost. Ed Hardy Hookah and Hookah-Tobacco represents something different. A story that makes its money off of the hard work and working mans story of Ed Hardy the person not the cultural icon of an italian designer.

What that story represents is what makes ED Hardy Hookah special.

But there are a lot of ignorant or malicious lies out in the Hookah forums.

One said that the Ed Hardy Hookah was made of plastic. In response i said that Ed hardy Hookahs are made of the best craftmanship and that  Ed Hardy hookah carries with it a glass Ash Balcony, that may look like plastic in the picture, but its a glass ash balcony balcony.

But  my post correcting the mistake was never posted. And then access was denied.

Hookah should belong to those who care about it. Not people paid to respond on these forums. Hookah should not belong to the owners of hookah bars who criticize hookah shisha without ever tasting it. I do not wish any negative competition between Ed Hardy and any other Hookah or shisha maker.

But I want people to taste the Hookah. If I’m right then we will add to the flavoring and class of your hookah bar.

We look forward to the challenges of proving ourselves to the skeptical hookah forums and hookah bars. It is my hope that we can look back and proudly see that we made your hookah and smoking hookah better.
