Ed hardy Hookah to enhance your hookah smoking.

When we looked at the Ed Hardy Hookah’s right after they were crafted, we felt we passed the phase of simply being a company with Ed Hardy Hookah art, and signatures;  to being a company that had become a legitimate competitor based on our craftsmanship.

Despite what many have said on the internet we care a lot about how the hookah “smokes.”  We care a lot about competing with the current big dogs of Argileh smoking. We do not feel that we would have any honor if we sold you a product that was cheaply made and ruined our company as soon as someone smoked out it.  We want to respect the long tradition of hookah with brining a beautiful looking and beautiful hitting Nargileh to the market.

Canton OH hookah bar closed.

Over  the weekend police in Cleveland closed down  Helios Shisha Lounge.

According to police quoted in Cleveland news sites, the Hookah bar owners were allowing kids into the Hookah bar.

“About six months ago, we started getting complaints from parents that their kids were coming to Canton to this hookah lounge to smoke this tobacco,” Police Lt. James Cole told Malcolm Hall of Canton Rep.com. “We did surveillance on it a couple times.” And on saturday police raided the Smoking lounge.

According to Canton Rep.com the police found  150 people in a Hookah bar that is allowed a maximum capacity of 47 and sales to children under 18. It is not clear if the sales are assumed because the kids under 18 were in the bar.

“What we found were between 150 to 160 people, (inside the smoking lounge)Police Lt. James Cole said told reporter Malcolm Hall.

“Probably 40 percent of the patrons in there were juveniles, ” Cole is quoted  as saying. “We closed it down. The youngest, I believe, was 15. I didn’t cite the kids. I took all their names and they will be used as witnesses,” Cole told the Canton Rep.com.

According to the Myspace page the owners may have thought they were complying with Law,  because they warn that you must be 18 and over to purchase Tobacco products. But the law seems to be like a liquor bar where you must be 21 and over to enter. It remains to be seen if this becomes a defense that Helios Shisha Lounge takes up.

South Africa is another place in the world where Hookah smoking is popular. In South Africa, though, the Hookah smoke can be refered to instead as the Okka Pipe.

According to Wikipedia.com the Oka smoking is most popular with the South asian (Indian) residents of South Africa the Cape mallay populations.  here is a link to the Places in South Africa to eat at and smoke at if you go http://www.ruba.com/guide/Restaurants_in_South_Delhi_South_East_Delhi_New_Delhi_-RubaExpert

But the European-African population of South Africa are taking up the Okka (hookah)smoking with more popularity. Like in the United States with its Hookah smoking, South Africa Okkah smoking has seen more Okkah or Hookah smoke bars popping up around the nation.

Okka smoken in South Africa is done mostly in public like the beaches and Parks. But many believe that the okka smoke bars have a real market in South Africa as it grows in popularity.

Many social historians look at the South African Dagga Pipe and believe that hookah smoking, like humanity originated in Africa.

In South Africa, the terminology of the various hookah components also differ from other countries. The clay “head/bowl” is known as a “clay pot”. The hoses are called “pipes” and the air release valve is known, strangely, as a “clutch”.

Some scientists point to the dagga pipe as an African origin of hookah

One of the wierd things ive seen in hookah bars is how many good people smoke together at our hookah bar. A lot of good humor can be found. This is a great video; one of those hookah videos of the decade.

But behind the Hookah humor of this video is an actual good lesson. “remember to always put yourself out their and do your own adventure.”

Hookah bar.

It is surprising how connected people get to their hookah bar.  The amount of time we spend smoking our shisha at the hookah bar starts to make you realize it has less to do with hookah than it does with hookah connections and friendships.

Yes its relaxing to smoke a hookah. But the mellow style that many hookah bars offer their customers attract the customers in more than the tobacco itself.

I think smoking hookahs popularity has something to say about our culture also. In our culture everyone is always moving so quick, no time to stop. But when we go to a hookah bar we have a place that we can rest, relax and blow some O’s.
