Ed Hardy and hookahs.

All Ed Hardy Hookah has done is add to the selection of hookah’s. We work in hookah because we love the smokey culture.

We created Ed Hardy hookah because Ed hardy is a person who represents everything America at its best is about. He is the same story every immigrant dreams of.

A hard worker who came out of the counter-culture through talent, hard work and using his intelligence to back up his individuality and rebelliousness with the bravery to follow his passions. Ed Hardy used his god- given talents to struggle a living out of the toughness of life.  Ed Hardy made it to college, gave it up to follow his passions and then made it in tattoos when tattoos were not accepted.

Ed Hardy was bloody good at tattoos. And he worked his way out of the struggle, sold his art and now finally does his own work, finally can devote his life to what he loves; His own paintings.

I read on a  hookah forum that “just based on the principal of what Ed Hardy stands for in the shisha world upsets me.” This same person turned down our tobacco for no reason. The price was good. And had he smoked the Ed Hardy Tobacco it would have been great. It was just this  invisible Ed Hardy meaning he claims to represent.

What does Ed Hardy Hookah stand for? allow me again  to point you to the life of Ed Hardy for what Ed hardy Hookah stands for. Stand for what you want. We Already know who Ed Hardy Hookah is.

Ed Hardy Hookah  stands for Individuality.

Ed Hardy Hookah stand for small companies working hard against the status que to create something new and better.

Ed Hardy Hookah stand for having nothing but the quality of our work speak for us.

Ed Hardy Hookah stand for the working class.

We do not stand for the billion dollar brand of Ed Hardy Shirts. We stand for the meaning of the tats on those shirts. Ed Hardy Hookah stands for the story that created those tats.

Canton OH hookah bar closed.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 19, 2010 by Abraham Appel

Over  the weekend police in Cleveland closed down  Helios Shisha Lounge.

According to police quoted in Cleveland news sites, the Hookah bar owners were allowing kids into the Hookah bar.

“About six months ago, we started getting complaints from parents that their kids were coming to Canton to this hookah lounge to smoke this tobacco,” Police Lt. James Cole told Malcolm Hall of Canton Rep.com. “We did surveillance on it a couple times.” And on saturday police raided the Smoking lounge.

According to Canton Rep.com the police found  150 people in a Hookah bar that is allowed a maximum capacity of 47 and sales to children under 18. It is not clear if the sales are assumed because the kids under 18 were in the bar.

“What we found were between 150 to 160 people, (inside the smoking lounge)Police Lt. James Cole said told reporter Malcolm Hall.

“Probably 40 percent of the patrons in there were juveniles, ” Cole is quoted  as saying. “We closed it down. The youngest, I believe, was 15. I didn’t cite the kids. I took all their names and they will be used as witnesses,” Cole told the Canton Rep.com.

According to the Myspace page the owners may have thought they were complying with Law,  because they warn that you must be 18 and over to purchase Tobacco products. But the law seems to be like a liquor bar where you must be 21 and over to enter. It remains to be seen if this becomes a defense that Helios Shisha Lounge takes up.

Hookah business. remember to listen to the tone of debate

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 19, 2010 by Abraham Appel

Ed Hardy Hookah clearly spent a lot of energy reaching out in honesty to clear up some false rumors about Our hookah’s. We were sincere and we mentioned how frustrating the anger and drama was in the Hookah business as we are attacked by agents of different Hookah companies that don’t care about hookah, or smoking but only about continuing a perception that enhances their profits at the expense of the Hookah customers.

But we thought we had it pretty cleared up until baffled by comments that ignored the conversation completely. People who ignored everything all of us had said and just repeated the rumors “maybe if ed hardy didnt make shitty hookahs you wouldnt have a problem selling them. i have a km, well worth the money now some ed hardy poser chinese knockoff shit not worth it”

Now Ed hardy hookah is not insecure. We smoke out of a KM also. But we Know we have made a great hookah. But we know that there are many different types of hookahs and you may not like ours for some reason. A friend of mine simply thinks its to big for her house. We’re working on making a smaller one. cause thats what good business does.

But to say that were having trouble selling Ed hardy Hookah and then saying we sell shit. Well, if you knew anything about Ed hardy hookah you would know these are hookahs to be very proud of, and you would know we have no trouble selling them.

Ed hardy Hookah thinks that customers are being cheated by comments like these on hookah forums across the internet. We don’t want to add to the confusion be being disingenuous but instead approach hookah smokers with respect and honesty. And those of you lying about its quality; well we hope people remember what they bought from you and know how truthful you are after they smoke an Ed hardy.

Ed hardy Rumors only prove need for better Hookah

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on January 15, 2010 by Abraham Appel

The rumors of Ed Hardy Hookah costing 600 dollars, or being made of cheap chinese crap, or having a plastic ash tray (when it is in fact made of glass) are rumors that were surprising because of how counter productive they are to hookah shops and Hookah bars. Other times these rumors were so frustrating because they were  held with some kind of cultural pride.

Ed Hardy Hookah is saying that the whole idea of Hookah’s were to be original, special, personal. And every time we hear these hookah shops spread lies about Ed Hardy Hookah, we know that they say they are protecting Hookah culture because their afraid their loosing control of hookah culture. Afraid of having to think and compete.

If you own a hookah shop, why don’t you want to be a  hookah bar that offers your patrons the quality and choices they deserve? Do you tell your customers about Hookah traditions because you want to snake charm them to buy from you just long enough for you to sell your hookah bar? Is it because you make your living off of selling cheap hookahs and dirty hookahs to customers who believe that this is the hookah tradition?

Doesn’t anyone notice how every hookah bar has the same hookahs and same styles? And no one feels like creating their own hookahs? Their own versions?  styles? flavors? Thats what Ed Hardy hookah does. We aimed for original. Its time for the Hookah customer to think about what the other guys aimed for.

Ed Hardy Goes shisha.

When Ed Hardy hookah were first launched there was a negative reaction from already present hookah companies. Hookah-shisha-Blog-forums had a lot of people who either wanted Ed Hardy Hookah to fail for personal reasons, or honestly were decieved by rumors and figured there was no way we could make a good hookah.

Rob 416 on a Hookah forum said “wow kinda pathetic. Kinda makes me sick.”

Maybe he owns a hookah company and is thretened.  Maybe this is an honest opinion. But it does not seem like an educated one. Maybe for a reason he actually got sick thinking of Ed Hardy Hookah, But with Ed Hardy Hookah having this beauty and style and being such high quality, it surprised us to read this.

Ebay girl at another Hookah forum said “Ha! I love it! let’s ruin the classic hookah with designer emblems. What is this world coming too? I still think the Ed Hardy’s are cool looking, I just wonder if they work?” The classic Hookah was of coarse a coconut shell, and then it was only for royalty in other completely different hookahs and their were no hookah barsback in the day.  Hookahs have gone through many evolutions. Funny, but Ed Hardy Hookah design actually returns to the more traditional style of self beauty and great hookah smoking.

Ed Hardy Hookahs smoke very well.. And it is not ruining, but respecting hookah culture to have a culture present its own hookahs.

Slowly the Hookah and Shisha sales started,  And it was official as we got the Hookah reviews in that people were impressed with Ed Hardy’s Hookah art, but more importantly, the style of smoke that comes from the Ed Hardy Hookah. It is a Hookah that is pleasant for the eye, and enhances your hookah smoking experience. And that is the most traditional of Hookah desires.

Ed Hardy Hookah respect: Tattoo artist Kaytlan Jenna

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 28, 2009 by Abraham Appel

There is this tatoo artist in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kaytlan Jenna who carries a perky type of strength and depth that we appreciated. kaytlan Jenna made us respect with her story and her incredible skill as a tatoo artist. We were honored when she singed up on our page… She is exactly what we respect about Tat Culture, and exactly what we want to be as a Hookah and Shisha company.

Vegas tatoo artist Kaytlan Jenna

There is a rule I have: don’t get tattoos from someone who doesn’t know what the tats mean to the person who carries them on their skin, and in their heart.  If there was anyone Ed Hardy Hookah would trust to understand what your next tatoo means, and a tatoo artist who could be trusted with your scars, it would be kaytlan Jenna.

An artist must understand her art.

We suggest you check her out if you’re looking to get some work done.
